Wedding photography is probably as close as I’m going to get to National Geographic and that’s fine by me. I’ve crouched in the dark with a light covered in bugs, I’ve photographed two hurricane weddings (not interested in making it a third) I’ve been on the top of a castle and many rooftops capturing the story of two souls becoming one, frolicked through countless fields and played in streams. And you know what? I LOVE IT!

When I shot my first wedding in 2006, I knew it was the gig for me! Flowers, gowns, romance, creativity, anything that could be imagined, could be a part of the days festivities. It felt as though I was in the middle of a movie, history in the making. Best of all, my job was to capture this story and be as happy and helpful as I truly enjoy being every day.

I have been very fortunate to work with such beautiful couples over the years. For me, the sparkle still remains. Each season people come up with new ingenious ways to tell their story and make their day unique.

Love never gets old. If we are lucky, we get old with love.

If you think I’m the best person to tell your story, please reach out via text 646 | 207 | 8642

We talk over the phone, get to know one another and you tell me all about your wedding plans.

After we chat, I email you the paperwork and we set a date for your engagement session (highly encouraged) and or bridal boudoir session. We stay in touch as your day approaches and we see one another at your walkthrough for your venue.

A few weeks before your wedding, your coordinator and I finalize timelines, and I check in with you via phone one last time. I email you my photographers timeline and we are all set! The next time I’ll see you is on your big day!

When your day arrives, I will be there 30 minutes early to set up and walk the space. I set up my lights, walk the venue and say hello to your friends and family. I’ve already been listening to the soundtrack I’ve selected for your wedding on the way. I’m stoked and happy and so ready to tell your story!

What happens after your fairytale exit?…

I go home and gush about how great my day was! I’m wired and so happy and can’t wait for the images to upload so I can take a quick peak before making myself turn in.

The next day I rest. If you do yoga, you know the importance of Shavasana. After a long workout, we must let our bodies absorb the flow and reset before we can begin again. My family and I often take a hike, go rock climbing or play in the garden after a long work day.

The Monday after your wedding, I can be found editing. The editing process is a long one for any project, but especially for weddings. I generally find myself smiling all day at my screen. Honestly. I can’t help it. I see the joy and the love on my clients’ faces and I just have to grin.

I try to send out a sneak peak no later than three days after your wedding. The sneak preview includes couples photos and detail shots.

Once I’ve edited all of your images, they are uploaded into your personal online gallery. I send you a text/email with the link and you can send it out to friends and family. You can download your images to your phone and computer. You can also order prints and other artwork from your gallery.

It is always a pleasure to see how my clients use their images. I love to be tagged on social media @copperkeyweddings

I’m fortunate enough to see many of my couples grow and live their lives. We photograph maternity, new babies arriving, kids parties and events. It’s an honor to be there to capture those moments. Hopefully I’ll be there to capture your story as well.

Would you like to see a full wedding gallery? Shoot me a text or email and I”ll send over a few links! Any good photographer should show you the whole day, not just the perfect highlights.

What if your wedding is intimate/non-traditional? Please call or text me for a quote. I love telling love stories and budget shouldn’t keep you from having great photos! I also love to travel and I’m an avid hiker, so if you want those amazing mountaintop shots, I’m your gal!

Let’s chat and we can come up with a plan that works for everyone.

The Fine Print –

Weddings outside of the NC Triangle will be charged a travel fee. Let’s talk about your plans and we can talk about the budget.

A 50% non-refundable deposit must be given to Copper Key Photo at the time of booking. I am not able to hold your date without this deposit.  Deposits may be made via Venmo/cash/check/credit card (credit card payments have a 3.5% fee added). All couples will receive an email confirming the receipt of the deposit along with confirmation that your date is held on my calendar.

A contract detailing all terms and conditions must be signed at the time of booking Copper Key Photo. I cannot hold your date until the contract is signed and the deposit is received.

The remaining balance due to Copper Key Photo must be paid in full 30 days prior to your wedding date.

Thank you so much for visiting!  I’m always here to answer your questions so please don't hesitate to text or call. Emails I check daily, but certainly not hourly.
